    Challenges We've Faced

Our information must remain current - how can we achieve this?

Because of the up-to-the-moment nature of the Internet, it can be a challenge to ensure that the information your present on your web site is always current.

We've faced the challenge of allowing several of our clients to constantly update their sites with a minimum of effort and time. This hurdle has been overcome through the implementation of our online database systems.

The most common feature that our clients have benefited from is an "online library" where new material can be added to the site on a regular basis through a simple online form which can be accessed using any web browser.

Such online libraries are currently being used by Functional - Fitness, Food, Lifestyle and Pete's Class Online Fitness Resources. Each of these sites offer extensive listings of articles, videos and fitness tips to assist the visitors in establishing their own exercise programs.

For Jeffrey Dawson, we implemented several databases to allow Jeffrey to make updates to his online Photo Album as well as his What's New section and his Calendar of Events.

Other sites, including Traptow Photography, use a database system to maintain their listings of related web sites and to post their latest announcements and special offers.

AFAB has also put databases to even greater use by developing sites where information is taken from a number of sources to create pages on the fly. This enables the client to make quick and easy updates on a regular basis so that the information presented is always current and up to date.
