Challenges We've Faced -

Our visitors want to be involved in our web site - how can we encourage them to communicate with us as well as other visitors?

User interaction is one of the greatest attractions of the Internet, but can also be one of the greatest challenges in designing a web site.

Many of our projects have faced this obstacle and we have developed systems which encourage web site visitors to get involved.

On the WHL web site, we have implemented a Fan Poll where visitors to the site can cast their vote for each of the weekly poll questions and then view the results from all of the respondents in graphical format.

We have also added an Online Trivia Test which allows visitors to test their knowledge of hockey and to compare their results to those of other visitors.

AFAB has run an annual online attraction with our Online Christmas Card where visitors from around the world can add their greeting to the card and view the comments and holiday wishes from our other users.

We have created bulletin board systems which allow users to post their comments and questions for other visitors to view and respond to. These systems have been valuable in allowing our visitors to find solutions to their problems and in encouraging new lines of communication amongst our users.
